Disappointed

The latest leaders for 2009 is here and I would like to congratulate each and every one of you. First of all, my big thanks go out to Mark for all the hard work he does for the blogosphere. However, I am very disappointed to see my blog, missing on the latest leader’s list. I have been blogging for more than a year and I am not very happy with the result. That part didn’t make a lot of sense because I did not miss a single month of blogging and I would end of having have at least three to five entries each month. I blog very consistently, comment, and link my blog on my Facebook and Twitter so my dear readers can enjoy reading. I swear, after glancing through the list, I was extremely close to quit blogging. I am getting more and more positive feedbacks so I assumed my blog would be on the list. Well, this is the outcome and I believe my blog is not great like many others. You guys are very talented writers and I admire your writing.

I am extremely disappointed in myself. But that should not be in my way, right? I believe numbers should not be the main thing in mlblogosphere. Rather, it should be about sharing love about your team and I’ve definitely been doing that for a very long time. I also want to stand out by being on the top 50, 100, whatever. I was not able to accomplish of standing out so that is the main reason I am not very satisfied. I’m very frustrated right now but I must continue. I want to continue blogging, I want to continue sharing my love and passion for the team.

Some sort of support are very appreciated right now. You guys are the key ingredient that will help me keep blogging and hopefully be on the list.

I can’t believe your blog didn’t make it to the list of blog leaders. You have one of the most enjoyable blogs out there!! I always check to see if you have anything posted. Keep on blogging!! My blog barely made it at #57. I couldn’t post because of family stuff so I only posted Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year. I have posted more lately only because there are a few Dodger tidbits to talk about. You are the best!!

Hey, don’t worry about it! I think that with your exposure on Gaslamp Ball and RJ’s Fro and stuff, thing are going to start to pick up around here. Your writing is amazing and I am really shocked too that you didn’t make the list. Just keep blogging, keep doing what you love. People will come :) GO PADRES!!

It’s a shame you didn’t make the Top 50, but don’t let that deter you. The passion you show for the Padres really does shine in your writing, and it’d be a shame if a number beside your blog affects that. Besides, it looks like the mlblogs community has mobilized to spread your word; just keep on writing entries for all of us to read. Good luck!

i dont get how they tabulate the top blogs. youve made it before and have been fairly consistent. some people on the list havent blogged for months. its hard to believe good people with good blogs, like yourself are jilted in honor of someone who doesnt do it all the time

It is to bad that you didn’t make the list. I recognize your blog when i see the name, and quickly visit it. Best of luck next time.

I also can’t figure out how they figure out the top blogs. I haven’t posted much since the season ended but I still made it to #57. Thanks to everyone.

This is my first visit to your blog, but I will definitely be back. Don’t give up! I’ve always wondered as well how some blogs that haven’t been updated in months end up on the leader lists. Keep up the good work!

Don’t let this get you down! It should be a minor speedbump in a succesful blogging career, which you are on your way to having. This is also my first time at your blog, but it’s great! I will check back whenever I can, not only to do my part to help you on the leaders list, but because your blog is genuinely fun to read. Keep it up!

Meow? Padre love!

So I’m pretty sure its rated on traffic. Since you blog about the Padres…..sorry! I check your blog on occasion. I do enjoy fan commentary especially since I’m not currently in San Diego and don’t get to see my Padres ever.

And you shouldn’t be disappointed. Its no great shakes to be rated highly–that means the mobs are following you. Keep blogging, hone your writing so you can be a Padres beat reporter some day. I’m rooting for you.

Oh also. David Eckstein sucks.

I don’t know if you can click on that or copypasta it. Whatever. Its awesome reading. Oh, also, those guys who ran FireJoeMorgan.com are the writers behind the Office. Dunno if that interests you.

Thank you to everyone for the kind words. I hope to make my blog a much better one throughout 2010. Oh also, David Eckstein does not suck.

Your blog is already one of the best. Don’t be discouraged. I totally enjoy every entry you write.

Hyunyoung: Numbers are definitely not everything. Look at my Sergio Mitre…everyone says he stinks because of his 6 ERA, but I think he’s great! Same goes for you. Your blog is definitely one of my favorites, and it is obvious that you LOVE YOUR TEAM!

Cat: Thank you so much for coming back here. I really appreciate your very kind words. This place would not be the same without you.Virginia: I’m glad my blog is one of your favorites. You’re right. Numbers are not everything.

OHY22XD: Have you heard anything from Ted? (Ted’s Take)
Just wondered, he hasn’t posted in a long time.

10indians: Just checked Ted’s blog. No new post.

you’re deserving of being in the top 100! Don’t feel sorry for yourself because we all support you!

Hyunyoung,
Can you feel and read the love!? Don’t get discouraged girl! Some ranking has also to do with being featured. I know I clicked and posted on the Texas Summer Heat guy that is being featured. If he wasn’t there, I would not have found him. I actually learned something from him and got some information on a Latin American league. I have not posted as often as during the regular season either ”cause I do go post to some other forums outside of the MLB blogs.
.
The bottom point is don’t get discouraged. Just enjoy your self and have fun.
Hey! I heard Stairs signed with the Padres? I can still remember Jonathan Broxton pitching to him. ughh!
