We made it!
The long wait is over and baseball has finally arrived. I know this post is delayed but better late than never, right? Get yourselves an all-year access to fun, tears, frustration and surprise because they will be available for every team, for 162 days. All thirty teams are in this competition and only number one team will win the ultimate prize.
2011 San Diego Padres is sure different from the year before. I know a lot of big names are missing from this team but I still have high hopes for this team. Last year’s chase to the playoffs got cut short because of, ahem, a certain team. I truly believe in my Padres. I say this over and over again because I really do believe. It’s not as easy as you think to stick to your team and be positive 99.99% of the time.
Padres were able to successfully accomplish their first task of the 2011 season at St. Louis. Friars came close to sweeping the Cardinals but I’m satisfied that they were able to take the series at road. It’s definitely a great feeling and a great way to start off a brand new year. Padres have a day off tomorrow and they will host the rival Giants at Petco Park on Tuesday. I guarantee that this will be an exhilarating home opener for the Padres.
Baseball also means I can interact with fellow Padres even more. ITFB, balls, and many more inside jokes with my Friar Faithul will make this baseball season enjoyable. I can’t wait to see them at Petco Park and catch Padres games together.
I really can’t believe baseball is here! I have this feeling like David Eckstein remembering me or opening presents on Christmas.
Buckle up folks, this is going to be a wild and fun ride.

Hey, anything can happen! Last year everyone had my Jays written off after the Halladay trade, and the rotation came up bigger than ever and the team won 85 games.

Great to get a series win in St. Louis, it’s a great start and good momentum as our boys come home against our new most hated team!http://padresfanindodgersland.mlblogs.com/
