My apologies.
I have to get a recognition for being the most horrible, most disappointing Padres fan of 2011.
I felt so distant from the Padres this year. I’ve been focusing on school and anything not related to baseball. Things (which I can’t describe) have been definitely holding me back to love the Padres.
This year, I went to a Padres Fan Fest and two games. That’s it. I don’t know what happened to me going to at least three games.
Will I be able to recap the 2011 season? No. Will I be able to support the Padres right now? Maybe not. Will I be able to tell that I’ve been a terrible fan? Yes.
I think it’s safe for me to say that people can change and people’s minds can change.
As you can see, I’ve been distracted. A lot. School? I had a sophomore slump and I’m struggling to get good grades this year as a junior. I lost friends and I gained friends. I’ve been studying for the SAT as well, which will determine my fate. I’m having family and personal issues, which I will not mention here.
I’m sorry for letting the Padres fans down. I’m sorry for being a horrible fan this year. I’m sorry for being the person that I shouldn’t be.
I hope to recover and find my true love of baseball. Because it’s something I don’t want to lose permanently.
No need to apologize, you were busy and you had to place your duties as a student first over being the die-hard Friar fan you’ve shown yourself to be.
